Questions and Answers

Why is Subscription pricing changing?

The benefits of Subscription are continuously expanding. In addition to its key advantages with immediate access to new software releases, flexible licensing rights, technical support, and a wide range of powerful cloud computing capabilities has been added to help customers stay ahead of the curve.

While Autodesk Subscription pricing has remained virtually unchanged for several years, significant investment has been made to enable the ongoing expansion of benefits. In line with the increased value offered and to provide more consistency in Subscription pricing ratios across the product portfolio, price adjustments are being phased in.

How is Subscription pricing changing?

In March 2012, Subscription pricing for the majority of Autodesk products was adjusted worldwide. For most products, this resulted in a modest increase to Subscription pricing, while for some products, Subscription pricing decreased slightly.

At that time, applicable Subscription pricing increases went into effect on the sale of new seats, and applicable Subscription pricing decreases went into effect on renewals.

The cost of renewing an existing seat on Subscription will increase marginally to align with last year’s new seat Subscription price changes.

When will Subscription renewal pricing changes take effect?

The Subscription renewal pricing changes will take effect on March 28, 2013.

Does this adjustment affect Subscription renewal pricing for all products?

The Subscription renewal pricing adjustment will apply to the majority of products and pricing adjustments may vary by region. Your Autodesk reseller can provide more details.

Whom do I contact if I have a question about the pricing changes?

Please contact your Autodesk reseller if you have questions, need more information, or if you would like a presentation of the latest Autodesk solutions and their benefit for your business.
